The fund invests in renewable energy facilities in the European Union, currently focusing on the Polish and Central Eastern European markets. Poland is one of the main markets for the development of renewable energy projects in the European context. This is a deficit market with high electricity prices, which is heavily influenced by the price of CO² allowances. This is particularly conducive to renewable energy, which can offer electricity generation at lower prices and generate electricity without significant negative environmental impacts.
REFI’s management team has extensive experience in the management of companies operating in the energy sector, project development as well as financial management and transactions. Throughout their careers, the fund’s key partners have completed 300+ million worth of energy-related investments and participated in 250+ million EUR other transactions.
In addition to the experience gained by the fund’s partners, REFI has access to the expertise and knowledge accumulated by “INVL Asset Management”, which allows for efficient management of the fund’s resources. Because the fund operates in foreign markets, the services of local partners (law, finance, accounting, project development and management, construction) are used in different markets.
